We specialize in Listening Training Programs and Educational Kinesiology Programs for attention, learning, and behavioral issues. Listening is different than hearing. We often confuse them by thinking they are the same thing, but they are not. Hearing is the passive reception of sound while listening is the active, motivated, tuning in to the sounds we want to hear and tuning out those we do not want to hear. We choose what we listen to and we choose how we think about and process the information listened to. Listening is the foundation for competency in learning, speaking, writing, and social interaction. Motivation and self-esteem increase when one is able to listen, move, and do easily what was once difficult or seemed impossible. The ability to listen effectively affects learning, energy, communication, balance, and coordination. At the center our training programs improve the client’s attitude, attention, behavior and academic performance.
